Project Overview
Client: Ralph François
Objective: Create an intuitive, user-centered platform that connects tech professionals with the right career opportunities, enabling them to thrive in their ideal positions.
Problem Statement
Reelcruit aims to solve a critical problem in the technology job market—connecting talent with the right opportunities. Many platforms either overwhelm users with irrelevant jobs or don't provide the tools to match users' skill sets and career aspirations effectively. Reelcruit wanted to create a seamless talent-to-opportunity matchmaking experience by focusing on precise skills alignment, career growth, and company culture fit.
Project Goals
- Create a seamless job-matching experience based on a user’s skills, interests, and aspirations.
- Simplify the hiring process for recruiters by providing targeted candidate profiles that meet specific criteria.
- Enable users to build comprehensive profiles that reflect both their technical abilities and personal preferences (e.g., work culture, career growth, remote options).
- Use data-driven algorithms to suggest roles tailored to each user.
Research & Analysis
User Research
To begin, we identified two primary personas:
- Tech Professionals (Developers, Designers, Data Scientists, etc.) looking for their ideal job roles.
- Tech Recruiters seeking to hire specialized talent efficiently.
Key Insights:
- Tech professionals value platforms that help them grow their careers, not just find jobs. They want transparency in job descriptions and hiring processes, as well as a system that understands their career aspirations and work culture preferences.
- Recruiters want tools to easily filter candidates based on skill levels, experience, and culture fit. They need quick access to relevant, pre-screened candidates.
Solution
The core solution was to create a platform that acts as a bridge between tech talent and the right opportunities, backed by AI-driven recommendations and a user-friendly interface. The platform needed to cater to both the job-seeker and the recruiter equally well.
